Alloy 625
Alloy 625, also known as Inconel 625, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with niobium added. This provides high strength without a strengthening heat treatment. Alloy 625 resists a wide range of severely corrosive environments and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Alloy 625 is typically used in:
◆ Chemical processing
◆ Sour gas wells
◆ Aerospace and Marine engineering
◆ Pollution-control equipment
◆ Nuclear reactors
