Hastelloy B-2 (N10665) is a nickel based high-temperature alloy composed of elements such as nickel, molybdenum, and cobalt, with a nickel content of approximately 65%. The alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel molybdenum alloy. It has significant resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid, and phosphoric acid. Molybdenum is the main element with significant resistance to reducing environments. The alloy can be directly used after welding because it can resist the formation of carbide at the grain boundary of the welding Heat-affected zone. In addition, it has excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, knife edge corrosion and Heat-affected zone damage.
