Alloy 201,Nickel 201(UNS N02201,W.Nr2.4068) is a pure nickel alloy with purity up to 99.6%, which has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance. This alloy contains extremely low carbon and sulfur content, ensuring the high purity and excellent mechanical strength of its material.
Nickel 201 is widely used in aerospace, energy, chemical industry, nuclear industry and other fields due to its good stability in both high and low temperature environments.
It has good corrosion resistance to caustic soda and chlorine gas. Especially as a material commonly used in diaphragm electrolysis caustic soda manufacturing equipment.

4. Applications of Alloy 201
- Food processing equipment, salt extraction equipment.
- Mining and ocean excavation.
- Equipment required for manufacturing industrial sodium hydroxide under high temperature conditions above 300 ℃.
- Production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides: resistance to chlorine and fluorine gas corrosion.
- Nuclear reactors.
- Curved neck bottles and components in heat treatment furnaces, especially in carbonization and nitridation atmospheres.
- It is recommended to use alloy 600 for catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production above 700 ℃ to achieve a longer service life.
